Tom Sullivan

Vice President, Talent Management and Analytics

As vice president of talent management and analytics, Tom Sullivan leads human resources, with responsibility for the company’s talent acquisition, leadership development, organization development, human resource information systems, workforce analytics and payroll functions. He joined Evergy in 2021.

Prior to joining Evergy, he was vice president of human resources at JE Dunn Construction in Kansas City, with prior work experiences at Walmart, AT&T, DirecTV and Sprint. He has served in a variety of different capacities primarily focused on business and human capital data aggregation, predictive analytics, workforce modeling and the seamless integration of workflow, knowledge, and performance management systems to drive process and performance efficiencies both in operations and human resources.

Actively involved in the community, Mr. Sullivan currently serves as a member within the Overland Park Chamber Talent Council, the Kansas City Chamber Workforce Council, and the Human Resources Advisory Board for the Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri, Kansas City.

He graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington with a Bachelor's degree in English and Education. Over the course of his career, he has been awarded patents in knowledge and performance management systems.
